Sometimes we change not because we want to, but because we have no other choice.
We give pieces of ourselves to others, sometimes to those who don't even recognize value of what we've offered.
We pour our hearts out, love parts of others they hide, and hope someone will understand.
But what happens when no one does?
When weight of our love becomes too heavy to carry, when wounds from trying too hard to be seen start to scar our souls, we begin to change.
Not out of anger, but out of survival.
We change because we realise dreams we've held so dearly need protection.
We change because, just like everyone else, we deserve love too.
We change because, for once, we decide it's time to love ourselves.
We realize we have value, that we are worthy of peace, and that we have right to live freely and with care.
And so, we change. It's not a betrayal of who we were, but a quiet, powerful reclaiming of who we were always meant to be. Change isn't always a loss. Sometimes, it's the greatest form of self-love.
