2 fugitives held with arms in Ct'g

Police arrested two fugitive convicts along with arms from Pahartali area of Raozan upazila in Chattogram on Thursday.

The convicted were identified as Arafat Mamun and Biplob Baruya.
Confirming the matter, Raozan Police Station officer-in-charge Monirul Islam Bhuiyan said that a team of police, acting on a tip off, conducted a drive in the area and arrested the duo.

Police also recovered a machete, a foreign revolver, five rounds of bullets, an indigenous LG gun and two rounds of cartridges from their possessions.

An warrant order issued against Mamun and Biplob for killing a business man on January 24, the OC added.
