A 37-member executive committee has been formed for the Jagannath University (JnU) branch of Green Voice, Bangladesh's pioneering youth-based environmental organization.
Mohammad Rasheduzzaman Limon, a student of the Institute of Education and Research (IER), has been appointed as president while Mohammad Imran Hossain from the Management Studies department will serve as General Secretary.
The announcement was made on Tuesday through an official press release signed by Green Voice Chief Coordinator Md. Alamgir Kabir.
The newly formed committee includes Sumaiya Haque Brishti, Sachana Barua Deepa, Khushnoor Alam, Abdullah Al-Moin, and Hridas Sutradhar as Vice Presidents. At the same time, Nurul Haider and Jannatul Ferdous were appointed as Joint General Secretaries.
Minhaj Ahmed Siam will serve as Organizing Secretary, Labannya Zahura as Management Secretary, Muktadir Shikder as Treasurer, Rabbi Hasan as Office Secretary, and Junayed Sheikh as Publicity Secretary. Sonia Akter has been named Training Secretary, Humayra Habib Huma as Cultural Affairs Secretary, Fahima Akter as Information & Communication Secretary, Nasrum Oishi as Women & Children Affairs Secretary, and Roksana Akter as Reading Circle Secretary.
