BCL leader held in Natore

Police arrested a leader of banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) from Shahebganj area of Atrai upazila in Natore on Monday.

The arrested, Amit Kumar, is the president of Molla Azad Memorial Government College BCL unit.
Confirming the matter, Atrai Police Station officer-in-charge Shahabuddin said that a team of police, acting on a tip off, conducted a drive in the area and arrested him.

He was shown arrested in an explosion case, the OC said, adding that he would be sent to jail after producing him before a court.
