Joint forces have arrested 743 more across the country during nationwide ongoing Operation Devil Hunt in last 24 hours.
A press release issued by Enamul Haque Sagar, Assistant Inspector General of Police (Media and Public Relations), on Thursday afternoon.
With the latest figure, the number of total arrest rose to 11,313 under the "Operation Devil Hunt’
During this period, 914 individuals were also apprehended across the country on various charges.
During this period, the joint forces also recovered various arms from the arrested people.
Earlier, the government announced the special operation, Operation Devil Hunt, across the country, including Gazipur, aiming to maintain law and order and bring terrorists to justice On February 8.
The decision was made during a high-level law enforcement meeting at the Secretariat on the day, following an attack on students and civilians in Gazipur on February 7 night.
