Jagannath University is hosting a two-day job fair, offering more than 200 job and internship opportunities for its students. The second day of the fair was inaugurated on Wednesday by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md. Rezaul Karim.

In his opening speech, the Vice Chancellor expressed his excitement about this being Jagannath University's first-ever job fair. He also voiced his hopes that the university administration would continue supporting such initiatives and expand their scale in the future.

Organized by the university's Career Club, the fair features 35 companies showcasing job and internship openings. Students actively submit their CVs at various company stalls and participate in on-the-spot interviews.

Mahadi Hasan, a university student, shared his thoughts, saying, "I've already submitted my CV. These job fairs are extremely beneficial for students. It's exciting to have the opportunity to secure a job or internship right here on campus. I'm hopeful that the university will continue to host these events on a larger scale."

Shahriar Emon, President of the JnU Career Club, added, "National Job Junction-2025 is a significant event for our university. Jagannath University Career Club (JnUCC) took the initiative for the first time to hold a programme like this on our campus. We aim to make this an annual and effective program at Jagannath University. I believe our students are benefiting immensely from this initiative."
