Trump promotes Gaza plan in bizarre AI video

US President Donald Trump posted a bizarre, AI-generated video, on his Truth Social account late on Tuesday, depicting his apparent plans for real estate development in Gaza.

This video promoting the transformation of Gaza into a Gulf state-like resort featuring a golden statue of himself, a hummus-eating Elon Musk, and shirtless American and Israeli leaders lounging on a beach.

“No more tunnels, no more fear,” a voice sings over a dance beat. “Trump Gaza is finally here!”

Earlier, at a White House meeting with Netanyahu this month, Trump proposed expelling 2.1 million Palestinians from Gaza, the United States could take over the war torn territory and turn it into “the Riviera of the Middle East.”

Trump suggested about the Gazans that they could move to nearby countries including Jordan and Egypt.

The redeveloped Gaza would house “the world’s people” and would be an “international unbelievable place,” Trump added.

At their meeting, Netanyahu praised Trump for saying “things others refuse to see,” which he said could “reshape the Middle East and bring peace.” However, Trump’s Gaza plan has faced pushback from Arab leaders—Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said Egypt would not “participate in an injustice against the Palestinians.”

King Abdullah II of Jordan said he is “against the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank,” which he called the “unified Arab position.”

Izzat Al-Rishq, a Hamas official, said “Gaza is not a property that can be bought and sold, and it is an integral part of our occupied Palestinian land.”

In response to their opposition, Trump said last week he was “surprised” they were not in favor, adding he is “not forcing” his plan but would instead “sit back and recommend it.”

The West Bank-based Palestinian Authority has called that proposal a “serious violation of international law.”

The PA foreign minister, Varsen Aghabekian Shaheen, said earlier this month, “We have tried displacement before, and it will not happen again,” referring to the hundreds of thousands of Palestinians displaced during the Arab-Israeli war that led to the creation of Israel in 1948.
