Operation Devil Hunt: 102 arrested in Noakhali

A total of 102 people have been arrested in Noakhali in the last two weeks during Operation Devil Hunt.

On Monday (February 24), the district's Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Md. Ibrahim confirmed the matter.
He said that from February 9 to February 23, members of the joint force arrested 102 people in Noakhali. The latest arrest in the last 24 hours was Mozammel Hossain Mozam, former chairman of Charbata Union Parishad in Subarnachar Upazila of the district and member of the Upazila Awami League.

Char Jabbar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahin Mia said that former UP Chairman Mozammel Hossain was handed over to the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court on Monday afternoon. Earlier, he was arrested from Totar Bazar in Subarnachar Upazila on Sunday night. There are three cases of assault and vandalism against him.
