Putin claims Russian soldiers in Ukraine defending Russia's future

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on Sunday that Russian soldiers in Ukraine are protecting the country's "national interests" and defending its future.

Speaking in a video released by the Kremlin, Putin emphasized that, despite the ongoing conflict, the determination to strengthen Russia’s armed forces remains "unchanged." He praised the courage and resolve of soldiers who, at the risk of their lives, are fighting to safeguard Russia's homeland and future.
