Man beaten to death over loud music at wedding party in Natore

A man was beaten to death in an attack allegedly by neighbours over playing music loudly during a wedding ceremony in Natore's Baraigram upazila on Saturday night.

The victim Kamal Bepari, 50, was a resident of Manikpur village under the upazila.
According to police, on Saturday night, preparations were underway for the wedding of Kamal Bepari's nephew Sumon. At that time, the family members were rejoicing by playing loud music. Neighbors Shamsul Bepari, Shajahan Bepari and Shahadat Bepari came and protested. At that time, they got into an argument with Kamal. At one point, they randomly punched and kicked Kamal. In this situation, Kamal was seriously injured and fell to the ground and died on the spot. The accused fled before the police reached the spot after receiving information.

Baraigram Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Mahbubur Rahman said that the body was sent to the Natore Hospital morgue for autopsy after being examined at the scene. The three accused brothers fled the area after the incident. The family of the victim is preparing to file a case with the police station.
