Operation Devil Hunt: 461 more held in 24 hrs

461 more individuals were arrested during the nationwide 'Operation Devil Hunt' in last 24 hours.

1,189 individuals were also apprehended across the country on various charges.

Police Headquarter AIG (Media and Public Relations) Inamul Haque Sagar confirmed the detention on Friday afternoon.

During this period, the joint forces also recovered a range of weapons and materials, including three locally made pipe guns and one foreign-made pistol.

The government announced the special operation, Operation Devil Hunt, across the country, including Gazipur, aiming to maintain law and order and bring terrorists to justice On February 8.

The decision was made during a high-level law enforcement meeting at the Secretariat on the day, following an attack on students and civilians in Gazipur on February 7 night.
