In the bustling, expensive city of Dhaka where survival is a daily challenge for many, some find strength in unexpected places.

This is the story of Priya and Riday, a couple living on a sidewalk, who, despite their struggles, has opened their hearts to an abandoned puppy, creating a unique family of their own.

Priya and Riday have built their home on the sidewalk near the Curzon Hall in the capital. They don't have any specific work. They do whatever jobs come their way. In their nearly two and a half year marriage, they still don't have children.

Perhaps due to her maternal instincts, Priya has adopted an abandoned puppy and made it a member of their family. Her husband Riday has no objections. They named the puppy Tiger.

Priya says, "When he goes to work, I'm alone on the sidewalk. I don't really find anything to do and I feel very lonely. I spend my time with Tiger. I don't feel good without him."

She adds, “One day, while collecting discarded papers and bottles. I saw the puppy alone by the side of the road at the Dhaka University area, shivering from hunger. I felt pity. I took him along with me."

Riday says, "Now, it's like he is part of our family. Whatever we eat, he eats too. He sleeps with us under the same blanket."

In a city of struggle, Priya and Riday’s story shows the power of compassion. Despite their hardships, they find joy and companionship in adopting an abandoned puppy, demonstrating that love and care can create a strong family, no matter the circumstances.
