JnU JCD chalks out progs for Int'l Mother Language Day

To commemorate International Mother Language Day and Shaheed Day on February 21, the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal of Jagannath University (JNU) has announced a series of programmes, including a photography exhibition and an "Amar Ekushey" quiz competition.

The announcement was made in a press release signed by JnU Chhatra Dal Convener Mehedi Hasan Himel and Member Secretary Shamsul Arefin on Thusday.

The photography exhibition will be arranged along both sides of the university's main entrance, paying tribute to the legacy of JuU's pride, Language Martyr Rafiq, and other valiant language movement activists. Additionally, an "Amar Ekushey" quiz competition will be conducted via social media to promote awareness and appreciation of the Bengali language.
Inviting everyone to participate, the convener and member secretary emphasized the importance of engaging in the quiz competition to honour the spirit of Ekushey.
