Operation Devil Hunt: 492 more held in 24 hrs

492 more individuals were arrested during the nationwide 'Operation Devil Hunt' in last 24 hours.

1,260 individuals were also apprehended across the country on various charges.

Police Headquarter AIG (Media and Public Relations) Inamul Haque Sagar confirmed the detention on Thursday afternoon.

During the operation, two local pipe gun, six round kartuz, were recovered with others arms.

The government announced the special operation, Operation Devil Hunt, across the country, including Gazipur, aiming to maintain law and order and bring terrorists to justice On February 8.

The decision was made during a high-level law enforcement meeting at the Secretariat on the day, following an attack on students and civilians in Gazipur on February 7 night.
