Train engine catches fire in Netrokona

NETROKONA, Feb 19: A fire has broken out on the engine of the 'Balaka Commuter' train in Netrokona's Purbadhala Upazila.
No casualties have been reported in the incident.
Train service on the Mymensingh-Jaria rail line was suspended after the fire broke out.
The fire started around 11:30am on Wednesday, according to Md Zahirul Islam, station master of Netrokona's Shyamganj Police Station.
The train left Dhaka's Kamalapur Railway Station at 5:40am and the fire broke out as it reached the Jaria-Jhanjail area, around 2 km away from Jaria Railway Station. —bdnews24.com
