EBL ATMs now operates at 16 metro rail stations

Eastern Bank has expanded its EBL365 ATM network to Dhaka Metro Rail stations, bringing greater banking convenience to daily commuters. With 16 Metro Rail stations having EBL ATMs, passengers now can conveniently access essential financial services. EBL is the first bank to introduce ATM services within the Dhaka Metro Rail network.
Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO of Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) and Mohammad Abdur Rouf, Managing Director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd. (DMTCL) jointly inaugurated the EBL 365 ATM line at Mirpur 11 Metro Station on Wednesday, says a press release.
Speaking on the occasion, Ali Reza Iftekhar emphasized EBL's dedication to enhancing customer banking experiences. "With the launch of our ATM services we are making banking more accessible and seamless for daily metro commuters. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to digital innovation and customer convenience," he said.
"This initiative aligns with EBL's vision of strengthening Bangladesh's digital banking ecosystem. With these ATMs, commuters will enjoy easy access to cash withdrawals and essential banking services while on the move, making travel more convenient than ever."
M Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director; Ziaul Karim, Head of Communications and External Affairs; Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury, Head of Digital Financial Services; Amin Md. Mehedi Hasan, Head of Digital Banking and ADC; and Mir Rehan Imtiaz, and Head of Digital Business and ADC Support from EBL; and senior officials from DMTCL were also present at the occasion.
