The 19th Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG-2025), showcasing cutting-edge innovations in textile technology, will be held today (Thursday) at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka.
DTG Expo will be held from 20 to 23 February 2025.
Sk Bashir Uddin, adviser to the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Textiles and Jute, will inaugurate the event.
Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), in collaboration with Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Company Limited, Hong Kong, has been organising the "Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition" (DTG) since 2004.
This year, more than 1,100 leading brands from 33 countries will participate in the DTG fair and showcase their technologies at 1,600 stalls.
Leading companies worldwide, including China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea and Turkey, will present their latest textile technology and equipment.
Announcing the event at a press conference at Pan Pacific Sonargaon on Tuesday, Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) President Showkat Aziz Russell disclosed this.
The exhibition will feature textile machinery, fabrics, filaments, chemicals, dyeing technology, and accessories. In addition, seminars on sustainable production and modern technology will be organised.
The special attraction will be the DTG Fashion Show, which will be held on February 21 and 22 at Hall 3 of ICCB.
This is an invite-only event.
Brig Gen Md. Zakir Hossain, Secretary General of BTMA and Mr. Akai Lin, Overseas Director of Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Company Limited, the co-organiser of the DTG Fair, were present at the press conference.
