Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus unveiled a commemorative postage stamp, an opening envelope, and a canceller on Tuesday to mark the upcoming International Mother Language Day, observed globally on February 21.

The release ceremony took place at the Chief Adviser's Office (CAO) in Tejgaon, Dhaka.
The event was attended by Information, Posts, and Telecommunications Adviser Md Nahid Islam, Posts and Telecommunications Secretary Dr. Md Mushfiqur Rahman, and S.M. Shahab Uddin, Director General (additional responsibilities) of the Directorate of Posts.

In a separate ceremony, Chief Adviser Yunus also released a commemorative postage stamp, an opening envelope, and a canceller to celebrate the 7th National Comdeca 2025. The event was graced by Comdeca Adviser and Road Transport and Highways Division Senior Secretary Muhammad Md Ehsanul Hoque, along with Comdeca Chief Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdha and other dignitaries.

The commemorative stamps honor the spirit of International Mother Language Day, which pays tribute to the sacrifices made for the recognition of the Bengali language, and celebrate the cultural significance of the National Comdeca 2025. These releases underscore the government’s commitment to preserving linguistic heritage and promoting cultural events.
