5-day Ekushey Book Fair kicks off in Natore

A five-day long 32nd Ekushey Book Fair began at Bagatipara in Natore district on Wednesday evening.

Amra Ko’jon Sporting Club organised the fair at the field of Bagatipara Government Pilot High School on the occasion of 21st February and International Mother Language Day.

Dhaka University’s Oriental Art’ department Professor Dr Abdus Sattar inaugurated the book fair releasing balloons around 7:00 PM.

Bagatipara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ha-mim Tabassum Prova addressed the programme as the chief guest while AC Land Suraiya Mamtaz, OC Rafiqul Islam and the upazila Jamaat president Mawlana AKM Afzal Hossain spoke here as special guests.

Amra Ko’jon Sporting Club president Mostafizur Rahman chaired the inaugural session.
