Police arrested an alleged drug peddler along with Yaba pills from Brahmanbaria's Bijoynagar upazila.
The arrested was identified as Faruque, 51, a resident of Bodhunti village in the upazila.
A press release, sent from Bijoynagar Police Station, confirmed the matter on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip off, a team of police, led by Islampur Police Camp Sub-Inspector Ali Reza Mamun, conducted a drive at the home of residence of Faruque and arrested him.
Police also recovered 60 pieces of Yaba pills and Tk 1,760 earning from Yaba selling from his possesion.
The process of filing a case against him with the police station was underway, the release added.
