Youth found floating in Cox's Bazar

Naval Police recovered the body of a young man from River Matamuhur under Chakaria upazila in Cox's Bazar early Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Hasan Murad, 25, son of Jashim Uddin, a resient of Nowapara village in the upazila.

According to police, locals spotted Murad's body floatin on the water of Matamuhuri River and informed police.
Being informed, a team of police recovered the body from the spot around 4:00 AM and sent it Cox's Bazar General Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination, said Badarkhali Naval Police camp Sub-Inspector Shufal Chandra Singha.

Police also found some injury marks on the body of Murad. The reason behind the death of him would be ascertained after getting the post-mortem report, the police official added.
