4 shops fined in Moulvibazar

Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) has fined four shops due to not selling products at fair prices in Moulvibazar.

An operation led by Special Task Force Committee President Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Bulbul Ahmed and Assistant Director of Moulvibazar DNCRP Md. Al Amin, conducted monitoring and awareness activities in various places across the sadar upazila.

Other members of Special Task Force Committee, student representatives and a team of Sadar Model Police Station also present during the drive.

During the drive, four shops from different markets fined a total of Tk 18000 for not selling products at fair prices, preparing and storing food products in unhygienic conditions and not having purchase vouchers.

Moulvibazar DNCRP Assistant Director Al Amin said these types of drives would continue to ensure fair prices in the markets.
