The hearing on three separate appeals regarding the cancellation of the results from the first viva voce of the 27th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations in 2005 ended on Wednesday.

The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court now fixed Thursday (February 20) to delivery its delivery over the issue.
A full bench of the Appellate Division, led by Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed, set the date after hearing.

On July 11, 2010, the Appellate Division headed by the then Chief Justice Mohammad Fazlul Karim delivered the verdict upholding the High Court verdict that cancelled the viva voce.

Later, 138, out of 1,137 affected candidates, filed three separate review appeals with the Supreme Court earlier this year.
