506 more arrested

A total of 506 people have been arrested across the country by the joint forces under the 'Operation Devil Hunt' in the last 24 hours until Tuesday afternoon, according to the Police Headquarters.

With these new arrests, the total number of arrests under the operation rose to 5,825.
During the operations, the joint forces also recovered several weapons from the arrested people.

Earlier, the government launched a nationwide security operation on February 8, after an attacked on the students by the Awami League and its associates organizations.
