Youth’s hanging body recovered in Cox’s Bazar

Police recovered the hanging body of a youth from his room at Ukhiya upazila in Cox’s Bazar district on Monday night.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Junayed, 23, son of Mohammad Alam and a resident of Inani Shorifbil area under Jaliapalong union in the upazila.

Locals suspected that the incident might have occurred due to family disputes or love-related issue.

Ukhiya Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Arif Hossain confirmed the death and said that the body has been sent to Cox’s Bazar General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
