Girl dies being crushed by bus in Ctg

A teenage girl died after falling from a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw and being crushed by a bus in Banshkhali upazila of Chittagong.

The accident occurred around 11 am on Tuesday (February 18) in Chechuria area under ​​Bailchhari union of the upazila.
The dead Monika, 14, daughter of Nasir Uddin of Matarbari Uttar Rajghat under Maheshkhali upazila in Cox's Bazar district.

The victim's mother Sajeda Begum said that they were going to Banshkhali from Chittagong city by a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw. On the way, Monika Akter suddenly fell on the road from the auto-rickshaw. Just at that time, a bus ran over Monika. She died on the spot.

Banshkhali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Saiful Islam confirmed the news.
