4-day book fair inaugurated in Lakshmipur

A 4-day book fair has been inaugurated in Raipur upazila in Lakshmipur district on the occasion of International Mother Language Day.

The fair was inaugurated on Tuesday (February 18) afternoon by cutting the ribbon at the premises of Principal Kazi Farooqui School and College organized by Professor Kazi Farooqui Welfare Trust.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (Raipur Circle) Md. Jamilul Haque was present as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the fair, with the college Principal Md. Nurul Amin in the chair.

In the event, special guests were Raipur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Nizam Uddin, Lakshmipur District Literary Society General Secretary Gazi Gias Uddin, Professor Kazi Farooqui Welfare Trust Vice Chairman Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, Principal Kazi Farooqui School Headmaster Md. Saiful Islam, Primary Branch Head Shafiul Alam, Principal Kazi Farooqui Institute of Science and Technology Acting Principal Engineer Kazi Rasel conducted by Assistant Professor Anisur Rahman.
