Masuma Akter, a journalist for Ekhon TV in Rajshahi, succumbed to her injuries early Tuesday after four days' of battle for life.
Earlier, she was injured in a road accident in Cumilla.
She breathed her last at 4:15AM while on life support for the last four days.

Locals rushed them to a nearby hospital. Masuma suffered a severe head injury and was taken to the ICU at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Later, she was transferred to Pro-Active Medical Care in Dhaka, where she was placed on life support.
Masuma graduated with a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from North Bengal International University, Rajshahi, and began her journalism career in 2014. She joined Ekhon TV's Rajshahi bureau on December 26, 2023.
