The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted that rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in one or two places over the Rangpur and Sylhet divisions over the next 24 hours. However, dry weather is expected to persist in other parts of the country.

According to the forecast, the weather will remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky in most areas. The trough of low pressure is situated over West Bengal and its adjoining regions, while the seasonal low is over the South Bay.
Light to moderate fog may form in some areas of the country from late night to early morning.

The night temperature is expected to rise slightly, while the daytime temperature is expected to remain nearly unchanged.

On Monday, the maximum temperature in the country was recorded at 33.2°C in Bandarban, while the minimum temperature today was 11.0°C in Dimla.

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:55 pm Tuesday and rise at 6:29 am Wednesday.
