Man held with arms in Kushtia

The arrested man is Nantu Miah, 35, a resident of Balidia village under Maricha union in the upazila.

A BGB team conducted a raid on Monday afternoon at Chilmari union border area near pillar 84/1-s around 2.5 kilometers inside of Bangladeshi territory under the upazila and arrested the accused.
Kushtia BGB-47 Battalion commander Lt Col Mahabub Morshed confirmed the detention and said that a foreign pistol, four round bullets and two magazines also seized from the accused possession.

Following the detention, a case has been filed with Daulatpur Police Station, the BGB official added.
