Six held in Faridpur Operation Devil Hunt

Police arrested six leaders and activists of Awami League as part of the nationwide Operation Devil Hunt from different upazilas in Faridpur.

The arrested are Alfadanga Upazila Awami League vice-president Akramuzzaman Queti Akram, Boalmari upazila AL joint general secretary Anwar Hossain, AL activists Mokaddes Khan, Maniruzzaman and Shamim Molla and Shakil Ahmed.
Confirming the matter, Alfadanga Police Statio officer-in-charge Harun Or Rashid said that several teams of police, acting on a tip off, conducted drives at different upazilas in the district and arrested them.

The arrested were produced before a court in the district, the OC added.
