With an aim to build a new Bangladesh, athletics and rural sports competitions held on Monday in Satkhira on the occasion of Festival of Youth 2025 with the slogan of "Let's change the country, change the world."
Organised by the district administration and district sports office Satkhira, the competition was held at Khejurdanga RK Secondary School premises under the annual sports programme 2024-25 of the Department of Sports.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (general) Bishnupada Pal distributed the prizes as the chief guest after competition of the event, presided by Satkhira district sports officer Mahbubur Rahman.
Khejurdanga RK Secondary School Principal Md. Habibur Rahman, BBK Kanailal Secondary School teacher Manoranjan Mondal, Machkhola Secondary School teacher Bipradas Paramanik, Rajnagar Dakhil Madrasa teacher Md. Roknuzzaman, Bakchara Ahmadiyya Dakhil Madrasa teacher Zahurul Haque and Kashempur Siddikia Dakhil Madrasa teacher Amir Hossain were present, among others, in the prize distribution ceremony.
On the occasion, administrative officials, district sports office officials and teachers and students of various educational institutions were also present.
