Woman held with phensedyl in Sherpur

Police arrested an alleged woman drug peddler with huge consignment of phensedyl at Nalitabari upazila in Sherpur district on Monday.

The arrested is Ranila Kochni, 35, a resident of Kochpara village under Poragaon union in the upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team conducted a drive in the area and arrested the accused with 60 bottles phensedyl.

Nalitabari Police Station officer-in-charge Sohel Rana confirmed the detention and said that the arrested has been sent to a court after filing a case in the afternoon.
