Ex-minister Farhad's wife remanded in Anti-Terrorism Act case

Former Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain's wife Syeda Monalisa Islam has been put on a three-day remand in an Anti-Terrorism Act case.

Meherpur Senior Judicial Magistrate issued the remand order after she was produced before the court on Monday noon with a prayer of seven-day remand.

Monalisa Islam, the vice-president of central Jubo League committee, was arrested from the capital's Eskaton area on Sunday night in the case filed by a student leader Hasnat Zaman, said the case investigation officer Salim Jahangir.

Monalisa Islam has been made an accused in the case.
