Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to seven points with a 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton at Anfield on Sunday.
The Reds took a 2-0 lead in the first half, thanks to goals from Luis Diaz in the 15th minute and Mohamed Salah, who converted a penalty in the 37th minute. Salah's goal marked his 28th of the season, continuing his impressive streak of six consecutive games with a goal.
However, Wolves mounted a strong second-half comeback, with Matheus Cunha scoring a stunning long-range goal in the 67th minute to reduce the deficit. Despite sustained pressure from the visitors, Liverpool held on for the win, although they failed to register a shot on target after the break.
Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson acknowledged the nerves following Cunha's goal but celebrated the three points as crucial for the team's title challenge. The victory ensures Liverpool remains ahead of second-placed Arsenal.
