CHATTOGRAM, Feb 16: Real estate companies witnessed sales and bookings of flats, plots and commercial spaces worth around Tk 80 crore at the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) Chattogram Fair 2025 which ended on Sunday.
REHAB Vice President Haji Delwar Hossain confirmed the matter to The Daily Observer on Sunday afternoon.
The amount has been higher than we expected," he said. The number of buyers and visitors who have been crowding since yesterday is unimaginable. We organize fairs every year. But last year it was not possible to organize the fair for various reasons. As a result, this year's fair is very crowded.
This year, 42 companies participated in the fair. They have presented more than 300 projects in front of buyers and visitors.
This year, we were expecting to sell flats, land and commercial spaces worth Tk 130 crore. So far, about Tk 80 crore has been sold. Hopefully more people will increase in the evening and there will be sales.
REHAB members believe that the purpose for which the fair has been organized has been successful. In these four days of the fair, the huge response of the people of Chittagong has encouraged the housing sector.
On the last day of the fair, it was seen that the companies participating in the REHAB fair are highlighting the quality of their flats to the buyers who come to the fair.
The four-day REHAB Fair-2025 began on Thursday (February 13) at Radisson Blu Hotel Mohana Hall in Chattogram. The fair ended on Sunday (February 16) at 9 pm.
