Police arrested a central Awami League (AL) leader from Phulbari upazila in Kurigram district on Sunday even though she was in hiding.
The arrested is Dolna Akter, 27, a former central leader of banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and a member of Forest and Environment subcommittee of AL and a resident of Kabirmamud village under Phulbari sadar union in the upazila.
