Operation Devil Hunt: 399 more held countrywide

A total of 477 people have been arrested across the country by the joint forces under the 'Operation Devil Hunt' in the last 24 hours until Sunday afternoon.

With these new arrests, the total number of arrests under the operation rose to 4,790.

Some 751 of the arrests were in connection with different cases, it said

During the operations, the joint forces also recovered arms and weapons, including a locally made pipe gun and an axe.

Earlier, the government launched a nationwide security operation on February 8, after an attacked on the students by the Awami League and its associates organizations.
