World's Poultry Science Association-Bangladesh Branch (WPSA-BB) President Masiur Rahman on Thursday assured that price of eggs and chicken would remain stable during the holy month of Ramadan.
The WPSA-BB and Bangladesh Poultry Industries Central Council (BPICC) will sell eggs and chicken at fair price during the Ramadan with its mobile sales centre under the supervision of the Department of Livestock Services (DLS), he said while addressing a seminar titled 'Building a resilient poultry industry in Bangladesh: Evolution, Challenges and Strategy'.
WPSA-BB, BPICC and Fisheries and Livestock Journalists Forum (FLJF) jointly organized the event.
WPSA-BB President also informed that a 3-day 'International Poultry Show' is set to be held from February 20 to 22 at Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre (BBCFEC) of Purbacahal in Dhaka.
Representatives from some 17 countries across the world will join the event organized by the World's Poultry Science Association-Bangladesh Branch (WPSA-BB).
Ahead of the poultry show, an international seminar will also take place at Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel at Airport Road in Dhaka from February 18 to 19, WPSA-BB President Masiur Rahman informed at a seminar held on Thursday at Dhaka Reporters' Unity auditorium.
