The 2nd International Art Exhibition by White Paper, titled "Journey of Art with New Enthusiasm," concluded at Zainul Gallery-2, Faculty of Fine Arts in the Dhaka University on Saturday, drawing an overwhelming response from art lovers, critics, and painting collectors.
The week-long exhibition, held from February 9 to February 15, 2025, showcased nearly 100 renowned and emerging artists from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Taiwan, Italy, Turkey, and Canada. The collection featured a diverse range of artworks, including paintings, printmaking, calligraphy, rickshaw painting, miniature art, and sculptures, presenting a rich spectrum of artistic expression.
Inaugurated by Emeritus Prof Nazrul Islam, the event saw participation from distinguished figures such as artist and freedom fighter Biren Shome and Prof Dr Azharul Islam Chanchal, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka. Eminent artists like Prof Hamiduzzaman Khan, Rashid Amin, Alauddin Ahmed, Kawsar Hossain, Sonya Binta Hasan, Shama Shaiom and added prominence to the exhibition.
