2 held with 51kg hemp in Sirajganj

Police arrested two suspected drug traders along with 51 kilograms of hemp from Choydabad area in
Sirajganj district.

A press release, signed by RAB-12 Sirajganj headquarters Assistant Superintendent of police (Media Officer) Md. Usman Goni, was issued in this regard on Saturday.
The arrested are Liton Islam Masud, 28, son of Rashidul Islam, a resident of Kalikagaon in Thakurgaon district, and Forman Hossain, 40, son of late Abdul Malek, of Muradpur village in Dinjapur district.

According to the press release, a team of police, acting on a tip off, conducted a drive at Bangabandhu Setu West Gol Chattar area and arrested the duo.

Police also seized 51 kilograms of hemp, a covert-van, two mobile phones and a 500 Tk note from their possessions, the release added.
