AL leader dies in Dhaka Central Jail

An Awami League leader, accused in the July-August murder case, has died in Dhaka Central Jail.

Deceased Abdur Razzak, 60, was the forest and environment affairs secretary of Savar Municipality Awami League.

According to prison sources, on Thursday (February 13), around 5M, they brought him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) from Keraniganj Central Jail in an unconscious state and the doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Abdur Razzak was accused in the murder case at Savar Police Station.
