JCD leader rescued after missing three days in M'singh

A local Jatiyotabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader was rescued three days after missing from Bhaluka upazila in Mymensingh district on Thursday evening.

The victim is Mamun, 21, son of Maqbul Hossain and a resident of Sreepur village under Durgapur upazila in Netrokona district. He is the president of ward no 9 JCD unit under Gaokandia union in the upazila.

According to his family members, the victim is currently undergoing treatment at Bahubal Upazila Health Complex in Habiganj.
Earlier, Mamun went missing from Bhaluka municipality on February 9.

Following the incident, the victim's elder brother Md. Islam Uddin lodged a compliant with Bhaluka Model Police Station on February 10.

Bhaluka Model Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Humayun Kabir confirmed the matter.
