10 injured in dog bite in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Feb 13: At least ten people were injured as a mad dog bit them at different places in Godagari Upazila of the district on Wednesday.

The incident took place in Mohishalbari, Alipur and Shagorpara areas under Godagari Municipality.

The injured were admitted to Godagari Upazila Health Complex for treatment.

According to locals, the mad dog bit ten people in the areas of the municipality on the day. Later on, locals, after a chase, caught the dog and beaten it to death.

Medical Officer of Godagari Upazila Health Complex Dr Hasanul Jahid confirmed the matter.
