3 drug peddlers held in Savar

Police arrested three drug peddlers, including a woman, along with Yaba tablets in a raid at Ashulia in Savar near Dhaka.

The arrested are - Md Arif Mia, 32, of Shikdarbagh Dhalpur in Ashulia, his wife Mitanur Begum, 26, and Md Al Amin, 22, of Gularchar area of ​​Jajira in Shariatpur. They used to live in a rented house at Pallibidyut Housing Road of ​​Ashulia.
Ashulia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nur Alam Siddiqui confirmed this information at around 12 pm on Thursday (February 13).

Earlier, they were arrested in a raid in Khezurtek Senapalli area of ​​Ashulia based on a tip-off at around 11 pm on Wednesday. At that time, 1,210 Yaba tablets were seized from their possessions.

Police said that all three arrested are notorious drug peddlers.
