School teacher dies being hit by truck in B'baria

A school teacher was reportedly killed after being hit by a speeding truck at Bancharampur upazila in Brahmanbaria district on Wednesday night.

The accident occurred around 9:30 pm on Wednesday in Battali area of ​​the upazila.
The victim was Farhana Yasmin Shilpi, mother of two children, 46, wife of late Mohammad Shajahan Alam of Khoshkandi village under Bancharampur upazila. She worked as a part-time teacher at Bancharampur SM Government Pilot High School.

According to police and locals, the teacher was going to Bancharampur from Ujanchar on a motorcycle with a relative at night. On the way to that area, a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction hit them. She fell on road from the motorcycle. Locals took her to the upazila health complex in serious condition where the on-duty doctor declared her dead.

Bancharampur Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Morshedul Alam Chowdhury confirmed it.
