Several unnamed sued over arson attack on content creator Kafi's house

Content creator Nuruzzaman Kafi has filed a case against several unidentified people over the arson attack on his Patuakhali residence.

He filed the case with Kalapara Police Station under Kalapara upazila at 11PM on Wednesday.

Investigations are underway in this regard, said the police station's Inspector (investigation) Mostafizur Rahman.

Earlier, the content creator alleged that his house was torched in a planned way for his participation in last year's anti-government movement that ousted the Awami League government on August 5 last.

Besides, he suspects his participation in the demolition of Dhanmondi-32 house led to the arson attack.

Around 1:30AM on Wednesday, a fire broke out at Kafi's home in Rajpara village. A team from the Kalapara Fire Service rushed to the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control after a two-hour effort.
