Operation Devil Hunt: three AL, one BCL leader held in M’singh

Four individuals, affiliated with the Awami League (AL) and its associate and the outlawed organisation Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), have been arrested at Gauripur upazila in Mymensingh district as part of the ongoing Operation Devil Hunt.

They were arrested from different places of the upazila.

The arrested are local BCL leader Ashraful Islam Hridoy and AL leaders Dewan Khasruzzaman Babul, Foisal Ahmed and Joynal Abedin.

Police sources said that they were sent to Mymensingh court.

Gauripur Police Station officer-in-charge Mirza Majharul Anwar confirmed the detentions.
