Man’s body recovered in Kushtia

Police have recovered the body of a man from a railway track at Mirpur upazila in Kushtia district.

The deceased was identified as Jahangir, 35, son of Tofazzal Hosain, a resident of Chamna village under Daulatpur upazila in the district.
According to locals, the body was lying on the track between Mirpur railway station and railway bridge area. Some identity documents such as a photo and an ATM card were found with the body.

Based on those documents, the victim’s relatives assured his identity.

Mirpur railway police station officials confirmed the recovery.
