Two motorcyclists were killed and another injured in a road crash at Pangsha upazila in Rajbari district on Wednesday.
The accident took place in front of an educational institution along the Langalbadh road under Mourat union in the upazila.
The deceased were identified as Shuvo, 18, son of Md Shariful Islam and Niloy, 24, son of Milon, residents of the upazila.
The injured is Rifat, 17, son of Md Manjur, a resident of the same upazila.
According to an eyewitness, Md Biplob Hosain, the three were heading to Brittidanga riding a motorcycle. The motorcycle crashed with a battery-run auto-rickshaw in the spot and the riders sustained critically injuries.
The victims were taken to the Upazila Health Complex, but the duo were confirmed dead on arrival.
On-duty doctor Anwarul Islam Khan confirmed that the two victims had passed away before reaching the hospital, while Rifat is currently receiving treatment for his injuries.
